Electric Reconnection Request

Sycamore Bridges is working with a community advocate to assist a single mom with her past due electric bill. Mom was actively participating in a structured payment plan with Duke Energy. Due to one month where Mom received less hours at work, she fell behind on her scheduled payment. Unfortunately, this automatically triggered the entirety of her balance due ($2821.54) within 30 days. Mom did not make that deadline and her power was turned off. We have been asked to help restore power. Mom is able to pay half her balance, so we would like to cover the remaining $1410.77.
