Helping Families Access Treatments

Every family deserves to feel comfortable, supported, and free from the stress that can come with persistent head lice. Unfortunately, for some families, lice can be a recurring challenge that is difficult to resolve completely, especially when the cost of professional treatment is a barrier.

We would like to establish a confidential fund through Neighborhood Bridges to help families in our district access professional treatment at Lice Centers of America. Their treatment program offers a guarantee, including complimentary retreatment if lice return under the terms of their guarantee.

Our hope is to remove the financial burden for families who could benefit from this service, giving them peace of mind and helping them move forward without the ongoing frustration and expense of repeated treatments.

Through Neighborhood Bridges, community members would have the opportunity to contribute to this fund, with donations used to pay Lice Centers of America directly for participating families' treatment costs. This approach would allow us to protect family privacy while ensuring that financial support goes directly toward the service.
