Weekend food backpack program needs lots of help!
Belforest Elementary has a weekend food backpack program serving 50 students on a weekly basis. The goal is to send enough food home on Friday for each student to have a breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner on Saturday and Sunday. The pantry is completely empty right now. Children shouldn’t have food insecurity – help with this ongoing need if you can. Nothing in glass please. Here are some suggestions but don’t be limited by this list. Anything and everything will help.
Oatmeal packets, breakfast bars, Nutrigrain bars, fruit cups, 100% juice boxes, powdered milk, individual applesauce, mac and cheese, meals (ravioli, spaghettios, cups of noodles, ramen, etc.), pasta and canned pasta sauce, individually wrapped snacks, peanut butter and jelly, canned meat (chicken, tuna…)
Please deliver donations to the school office at Belforest Elementary, 11364 County Road 64, Daphne, attention Ms. Ward. Thank you!
Thanks for your support!
