Financial Hardship

One student has a rare form of cancer for which she has been undergoing treatment for a year.  This student has been between hospitals in Houston, TX and Birmingham, AL during the entire school year.  While I do not know the family's economic status, I imagine their grocery, gas and travel expenses are relatively high.  Anything will help such as gift cards for gas and food.
