Recently Filled Needs

Local family needs help for warm clothes and necessities

Working mom in our community, who has a few children of her own, just took in 2 children from a family member. The girls came to her with very little. Both girls need some necessities to get through the cold winter.

Age 5 Girl in need of:

2-3 pair Size 6/6x pants

2-3 size 7/8 shirt
1-2- size 7/8 Pajamas
1 package each Underwear and socks

12 little kid shoe

Age 2 girl in need of

2-3 each Size 2T pants and shirt
1-3 size 2t Pajamas
1 package each Underwear and socks

Size 5 toddler shoes

Special gift for the holidays could include baby dolls, stuffed animals or any age appropriate toys.

Family in need of beds

Family in need of 3 twin mattress and 4 twin bed frames. 1 full or queen mattress and platform bed frame to match, for parent. A registry has been created on Amazon, so you can order directly from the website and the items will be shipped directly to a recipient. Go to Amazon.com, search "shop by category", choose "gifting and registry", in registrant name, type "Mcadory neighborhood bridges". That will take you to the items that need to be purchased.

Care Closet at McAdory Elementary

The new school year is upon us and the Care Closet at McAdory Elementary could use a refresh!
Our younger students still have toileting accidents and often need a change of clothes to be able to stay at school the remainder of the day.

MES is in need of the following items:

2 packs each XS,S and M new girls underwear

2 packs each XS, S and M new boys underwear

2 packs each boys and girls socks (small)

3 each XS, S and M outfit with shirt and elastic shorts for girls

3 pair each XS, S and M outfit with shirt and elastic shorts for boys

Elementary age tennis shoes (sizes 12-3)

We ask that underwear and socks be new in package. Clothing and shoes can be new or gently used (no rips or stains please).

Remember, you do not have to provide everything on our list to help. Even one item is a HUGE help! We will update as donations come in! If you’re able to help, please drop at one of our drop off locations by Sunday 8/18. If you aren’t able to shop, please consider a monetary donation through our website!
