Urgent: Family Needs After Devastating House Fire
A local family in our community has experienced a devastating house fire. UPDATED: They have received all the their clothing needs at this time but personal items lost in the fire are desperately needed, your support during this incredibly difficult time can make an immediate difference.

Community Need: Help Restock Our Nurses Stations
Our Buckeye Valley school nurses do so much every day to provide essential items that help students stay healthy, comfortable, and ready to learn.
At the beginning of the school year, our community showed incredible support through a supply drive that helped stock our nurses stations across the district.

Thanks to that generosity, many students were able to receive the items they needed, when they needed them most, but now supplies are running low. Our nurses continue to provide important everyday necessities to students, and we want to make sure they have what they need to keep supporting our kids.

Recently Filled Needs
Community Care Request: Helping a Family Restock Groceries (Family of 5)
A family of five in our community has reached out for help, as they have recently experienced an extended power outage that unfortunately resulted in the loss of all their food in their refrigerator. They are now working to restock their kitchen and get back on their feet.
We are hoping to come together as a community to support them during this unexpected setback. Gift cards to Kroger would be especially helpful so the family can purchase groceries and replace the food that was lost.
There are two ways you can help:

Then we will purchase the gift cards and deliver them to the school location of the family in need.
2. You can purchase gift cards and deliver to any BV school buildling secretary (please let them know this is for a neighborhood bridges need) and we can pick up & deliver and ensure it reaches the counselor who requested for the family.

This simple tool will help the child build independence, confidence, and consistency throughout the school day, setting them up for greater success both academically and socially. We have a 10-year-old, female student in our community who is in need of a new pair of tennis shoes (Size 2.5 Little Kids) Proper footwear makes a big difference in a child’s comfort, confidence, and ability to fully participate in school & play.
