Opportunities for Kindness
A high school student is in need of a suit or tux for prom
A Butler Tech student is in need of a suit/tux for their upcoming prom. He wears a 36 or 38 waist and 32 length in dress pants and would need a men’s XL or XXL button-down shirt. He also wears a men’s size 11½ dress shoe.
Any new or gently used donations would be greatly appreciated. Prom is quickly approaching on March 21st, and we would love to help make sure they can attend feeling confident and dressed for the occasion.
Hygiene and cleaning items needed
The Success Program is collecting hygiene and cleaning supplies to support Monroe families in need. Needed items include toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, shampoo, dish soap, and toilet paper.
Donations can be dropped off in the neighborhood bridges donation bin at Monroe High School, or you may choose to make a monetary donation.

A family is in need of a working microwave
A family is seeking a microwave. New or used is fine! The family is very appreciative!
A family is seeking assistance paying for a new furnace for their home. At this time they are using space heaters to heat their home.
A fantastic company in Monroe is willing to do the job for 1/2 the cost. The family can cover 1/2 of that cost. We are looking for $2800 to cover the rest. Any amount will help please consider donating to this team effort.

A single mom is requesting gas gift cards to help support their family. She is a Doordash driver. Gas gift cards would benefit this family so much so that she can work more hours and earn more income to provide for their family.
A student would like to go on a field trip for Spanish class
A high school student would like to participate in a field trip for Spanish Class. The field trip is $21 and the lunch is $15 making it a total fee of $36. The fee and permission slip for students is due March 5th so it is a more urgent need. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

A high school student athlete is seeking easy, prepackaged snacks for school. He lives in a single-parent household, and additional support with items like granola bars, pretzels, overnight oats, peanut butter crackers, bread, and peanut butter would be super helpful. Please consider a monetary donation or donating specific snacks to our neighborhood bridges bin located in our High School lobby. Any donation is greatly appreciated!
