Bike helmets needed
On the Wish ListA special education classroom is in need of 3 adult sized bike helmets and 2 big kid sized bike helmets. The students need them to wear when doing occupational therapy on the adaptive bike.
Window Insulation Kits Needed
On the Wish ListA family with children in elementary, Jr high and high school are in need of window insulation kits for their home. Due to the make of their windows, it is nearly impossible to keep with home warm without covering the windows during the winter months.

On the Wish ListA high school student with special needs is in need of a adult men's bike helmet to ensure his safety when riding his bicycle or scooter. Any assistance with obtaining a helmet would be greatly appreciated.
Hairstylists needed for CAT CUTS program
Calling all hair stylists! We are looking for volunteers to help with our "Cats Cuts" events this school year - dates will be 11/16, 2/8 and 5/7.
"As part of our effort to support student wellness and confidence, Southwest Local School District is offering free haircuts for students in need during the school day. These haircuts will be provided by a licensed professional stylist (volunteer) in a safe and supervised environment at their school."

Items needed for CAT CUTS Program held at all SLSD schools

Hair cut supplies are needed for our SLSD "CAT CUTS" program for students in need. Did you know that a group of local licensed stylists will be volunteering their time quarterly to cut hair at all SWLD schools using their own equipment & sanitation supplies? This is our 2nd year of the program but they do need additional hair care supplies for the kids they are working with.

On the Wish ListA Southwest Local Schools student is in need of XL adaptive pants to support their toileting needs at school. Adaptive clothing would provide the student with greater comfort, dignity, and independence while making toileting easier and more manageable for the student and their caregivers.
