Money needed for home Wheel Chair Ramp Material Cost
There is a family with a child in need of a wheelchair ramp at their home. Cost of materials is $1,975. There is an organization that will install the ramp on May 3, 2024.

Bibb County Schools Special Olympics 5/8/24 Donations Needed
Since 1979, Bibb County Schools has hosted the annual Special Olympics
program for students with special needs, which includes students that have
Autism, an Intellectual Disability, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Orthopedic
Impairments and other disabilities. Approximately 150 students attend this
event annually.
This year our program will be Disney themed with the motto, “If you can dream it, you can do
it.” Special Olympics will take place on May 8, 2024, at the Bibb County High School Football
Facility and will begin at 9:00 AM. During the event, students are provided with opportunities
for games, music, arts, food and fun. In addition, each student is given a t-shirt to wear for the
event and is provided with a bag full of goodies and treats. Lunch and snacks are provided
throughout the day.
This program will cost approximately $6,675.00 this year. We rely on donations and volunteers
for this program to be a success and would greatly appreciate your consideration in donating
funds for this program. In addition, we would love to have your organization volunteer on this
day. Below is a breakdown of the approximate cost of items for the event.

This day is FREE to our students and it is our hope that each student leaves this event with full
tummies, lots of goodies, a t-shirt and many happy memories. We would love to see you at this
