Westerville, Ohio is the epicenter of impact and kindness

neighborhood bridges, a national 501(c)(3) charity that was founded and launched for Westerville City Schools, is proud to share that neighborhood bridges Westerville has surpassed 1.1 MILLION DOLLARS in giving and impact to students and families in need.

Since its launch on Martin Luther King Day in January of 2017, the Westerville community has filled more than 1,043 needs posted by Westerville City School counselors, social workers, mental health professionals as well as intake coordinators at the Westerville Area Resource Ministry Food Pantry (WARM).  

The impact is historic and far reaching as more then 68,465 Westerville School students have been directly impacted through the kindness and generosity of the community.

Westerville is the first neighborhood bridges community to surpass $1 million in donations.  There are 5 additional neighborhood bridges communities that have surpassed $500,000 in giving and another 15 communities have surpassed $250,000 in giving.  In total the charity has supported more than $12 million in giving and driven impact to over 575,500 students in need.

Recently the Board of Directors of neighborhood bridges approved a BHAG -- Big Hairy Audacious Goal -- of driving impact to one million students before the end of 2027.
