Elderly Caregivers in Daphne Need Help

A Daphne family with students at WJ Carroll is struggling financially and is in need of help with the basic necessities.  These are elderly grandparents who now have custody of their grandchildren.  They are having a very difficult time making ends meet on a fixed income.  They are unable to work due to age and poor health.  Multiple recent lengthy hospital stays have added to their current stress and financial burden.  Items that are needed: laundry detergent (high efficiency type), dishwasher detergent, toilet paper, paper towels....any of the household basics that a family goes through.  They could also use dog food, cat food, and cat litter (the kids LOVE their dog and cat, but these items add up!).  Gift cards for gas, Walmart, or grocery stores also welcome!  We are working towards a long-term plan but want to make sure they have all that they need over the holidays.
