Clothing for 4th Grader

Sycamore Bridges is working with a community advocate to obtain clothing for a 4th grade girl. Mom and dad are struggling to make ends meet and are not in a financial position to purchase new clothing for their growing daughter. We have been asked to provide five outfits, complete with socks and underwear, to get through the warmer school weeks ahead. Thanks to a generous gift, this request was filled before being posted. No additional funds or clothing are needed at this time.

Laundry Money

Sycamore Bridges is working with a community advocate to assist a Sycamore family with laundry. The mom, dad, and elementary school child are currently living in an extended stay hotel with access to washing machines at $2.75/load + $2.75/dry. They do not have any extra funds to regularly keep their clothing laundered. Another local organization is providing detergent. We would like to offer a small gift card to cover their laundry expenses for the duration of the school year ($50). If you would like to offer assistance, CLICK HERE and designate your donation to "Laundry".

Urgent Clothing Request

Sycamore Bridges is working with the Sycamore Community Schools Registrar to assist a single mom who has fallen on hard times. She is recently homeless and in desperate need of clothing for two of her children while she awaits on additional long-term assistance. We have been asked to provide shoes and clothing for each child so they are able to attend school. Due to the emergent nature of this request, we are seeking $198.52 to cover the cost of the items, which are being delivered today. If you would like to offer help, CLICK HERE and designate your donation to "Kids' Clothing".

French Class Field Trip

Sycamore Bridges has been asked by a school administrator to pay for a student's French class field trip. The entire cost is $34 and includes a museum visit and lunch at a French cafe. The student will not be able to participate without financial assistance. If you would like to support this request, CLICK HERE and designate your donation to "French Field Trip".

Choir Fees for HS Students

Sycamore Bridges is working with the Sycamore High School music department to help students cover their choir fees for the school year. The Sycamore Choral Program consistently receives awards and acknowledgments for their superior ratings and entertaining performances year after year. Currently, there are 30 students who are unable to afford the fee of $125. Sycamore Bridges is sharing this large expense with the Vocal Boosters so all students can participate in this awesome program free of debt. Our goal is to offset the large balance as much as possible. If you would like to contribute to this request, CLICK HERE and designate your gift to "Choir Fees".

Seeking Gift Cards for Newly Single Mom

Sycamore Bridges is working with a school counselor to assist a newly single mom of two who is in desperate need of assistance for food, gas, and personal items due to a recent change in family status combined with a medical issue that resulted in a loss of income. Specifically we have been asked to provide Kroger, Target, and fast food restaurant gift cards to help get her through the next month without worry. She is a dedicated mom who is starting over. If you would like to contribute to this request, CLICK HERE and designate your gift to "Single Mom".
