Single Mom of two in need of Christmas help for two middle school kids.

We are in need of women's snow boots size 8 

Shoes and Coat


A 7th grade student has Epidermolysis bullosa (blistering of feet).  He would greatly benefit from a new pair of shoes.  His mother indicated that he has grown out of his winter coat.
Sneakers (men's size 10 wide - he likes grey new balance and black nikes) and a winter coat (men's size XL - he likes black). 

Clothes/Supplies


Roosevelt HS student who needs a backpack, school supplies, and clothes. Male who wears XL and Size 36 x 36 pants. 

$350 needed for impactful field trip opportunity for students with disabilities


As part of Longcoy Elementary School's commitment to supporting the diverse learning requirements of their students, they are organizing a field trip to Rock the Spectrum, located in Stow. 
The field trip will offer the students a unique, hands-on learning experience outside the classroom, helping them develop critical social, cognitive, and emotional skills in a real-world environment. For many of the students, these experiences are essential for fostering confidence and independence, but they can be difficult to achieve without external support. 

This 2-hour field trip focused on sensory safety fun is for 25 students and the total cost is $350. Many of these students are in the free and reduced lunch program so they often do not have the extra funds needed for experiences like this,


Bicycle for high school student


Male sophomore student at Roosevelt High School in need of a bike for transportation to school.  It would be a great help to him and his family if he could have a bike. 

Single mother in need of baby items for twins on the way! Updated


A mother of 4 is soon to be a mother of 6, with twin boys due very soon. Mom is looking for the basics to be able to bring the babies home and continue to send the older students to school. She is in need of baby bottles, diapers of various sizes and footie pajamas.

Kathleen Wiler - Area Director

Kathleen Wiler is a resident of Kent where she lives with her husband and two daughters, both of whom attend Kent City Schools. She is a current board member for the City of Kent Department of Parks and Recreation. Her past professional experience includes nearly 20 years working in NCAA Division I college athletics and three years as a teacher and coach near her hometown of Philadelphia, PA. Kathleen graduated from Providence College with a B.A. in Social Science and earned an MEd in School Counseling from Kent State University.
