I have a student that is really struggling at home with basic needs. A gift card to somewhere like Meijer where they could get food, gas, and/or clothing would be super helpful and much appreciated.  

Quarters for Laundry


Family with 4 school-aged children requesting quarters to assist with coin-operated laundry cost at their apartment.  Kids are missing school due to unclean clothes.  

Graudation Cap and Gown


We have 3 students who are in need of a cap & gown. 
The price for all 3 is $150.   

Homeless student in need


We have a high school Senior who is homeless and in need of clothing and some healthcare items.  A gift card  would be much appreciated by this student.

About Kent

Kathleen Wiler - Area Director

Kathleen Wiler is a resident of Kent where she lives with her husband and two daughters, both of whom attend Kent City Schools. She is a current board member for the City of Kent Department of Parks and Recreation. Her past professional experience includes nearly 20 years working in NCAA Division I college athletics and three years as a teacher and coach near her hometown of Philadelphia, PA. Kathleen graduated from Providence College with a B.A. in Social Science and earned an MEd in School Counseling from Kent State University.
