Helping a family start fresh

A parent with 3 kids is moving and starting over, they are facing the challenge of needing some of the basic neccessities. A gift card would help them purchase : cleaning products, new sheets, towels, kitchen essentials, pantry items and everyday household items.

A family with two small children is in need of assitance for their outstanding water bill. Without support the family is at risk of having their water service disconnected. $304.49 needed

In need of 3 sets of twin bedding and pillows. Needs detergent and money for a card for the laundromat.

A family with two teenage boys is in need of a gift card donation for food. The family is going through a hard time, and are getting back on track. The gift card would be greatly appreciated while they are working on getting a steady flow of groceries.

About Kent

Kathleen Wiler - Area Director

Kathleen Wiler is a resident of Kent where she lives with her husband and two daughters, both of whom attend Kent City Schools. She is a current board member for the City of Kent Department of Parks and Recreation. Her past professional experience includes nearly 20 years working in NCAA Division I college athletics and three years as a teacher and coach near her hometown of Philadelphia, PA. Kathleen graduated from Providence College with a B.A. in Social Science and earned an MEd in School Counseling from Kent State University.
