Donations Needed to Assist Jasper City School Students and Families
Jasper City School students and families face financial crisis throughout the school year. Our community is always willing to step up and support those in need. These needs range from clothing, shoes, medical attention, food and other basic needs. 100% of your donations will go directly to assisting Jasper City School students. A TR Simmons student needing help with registration fees for summer camp
A 1st grade student is in need of help with registration fees for the SKY Summer Camp Program facilitated by the Walker County Community Action Center. The registration fee is $325 and will pay for his breakfast, lunch, snacks and weekly fun trips. He would also be doing Math and Reading activities during camp.
If you would like to contribute, please make your check payable to Walker County Community Action Center, and send the check to T.R. Simmons Elementary front office. We are collecting donations until we reach the amount or until May 16th. Thank you very much!

Snacks for TR Simmons students
TR Simmons is in need of some individually packed snacks (e.g. chips, goldfish, cookies, etc.) for some students who do not have a snack during snack time. Due to possible allergies, we are requesting peanut-free snacks. Thank you very much!!!!
TR Family needing grocery vouchers
We have a TR family in need of grocery vouchers, gas gift cards and/or fast food gift cards. The family currently has no means to refrigerate or keep a lot of groceries so vouchers would be greatly accepted.
TR Simmons Clothes Pantry in need of clothes
Our TR Simmons clothes pantry is in need of the following size 8-10 boys' and girls' clothing:
- short sleeve shirts
- girls' tights or shorts with elastic waist
- boys' jogging pants or shorts with elastic waist
The clothes pantry is available to all students who are in need of clothes and help several of our students throughout the year. If you can help, please drop donations off at the front office. Thank you so much!
JHS Senior needs help with Graduation Fees
Jasper High School senior needs help with graduations fees for a cap and gown. The total is $87.60. If you can help, please drop your donation off at the front office of the high school. Thank you very much!
