Opportunities for Kindness

šŸˆ Help a Student Play This Summer!

We are looking for a little community support to help a Fairfield student participate in a positive summer activity. This student would love the opportunity to play flag football at the YMCA this summer.

The registration cost is $110, and while his mom would love for him to be involved in something active and positive, she is currently unable to cover the fee.
Sports can provide so many great opportunities for kids—building confidence, staying active, and connecting with teammates. With a little help from our community, we can make sure this student gets the chance to be part of that experience.

If you’d like to help cover the cost so he can play this season, any donation is greatly appreciated. ā¤ļø

We are seeking $75 sponsorships to provide caps and gowns for graduating seniors in need. šŸŽ“

We are currently seeking monetary donations to help cover the cost of caps and gowns for graduating seniors who may not otherwise be able to afford them. The cost for a cap and gown is $75 per student. Every student deserves to walk across the stage in a new cap and gown as they celebrate this important milestone. Your generosity can make that possible.

If you would like to sponsor a senior for $75 and purchase a cap and gown on their behalf, please click the donation link below. Any contribution, big or small, makes a meaningful difference.
Thank you for helping us ensure that every senior has the opportunity to participate in graduation day. šŸŽ“

šŸš¶ā€ā™€ļøšŸ’™ Community Support Needed for a Local Mom and Son šŸ’™šŸš¶ā€ā™€ļø

We are reaching out on behalf of a hardworking single mom in our community who could use a little extra support. Right now, she walks her son to and from school every day — about 25 minutes each way, twice a day. While she does everything she can to make it work, the walk can be challenging and sometimes unsafe due to traffic. We are hoping to help make their daily commute a little easier and safer.

We are currently looking for a gently used wagon or big-kid stroller (her son is tall), or monetary donations that will go directly toward purchasing one for the family. Having a wagon or stroller would help keep her son safe near traffic and make the long walks much more manageable.

If you have one you no longer need, or would like to contribute toward purchasing one, we would be so grateful for your support. Every act of kindness helps local families feel supported and cared for. šŸ’›

A student living on his own needs help to thrive!

A high school student, navigating life on his own, is in urgent need of support for basic necessities like gas and meals. Every day presents challenges that many of us take for granted, and your help can make a meaningful difference in this student’s life.

We are raising funds to provide gas cards and fast food gift cards, giving this student the resources they need to get to school, focus on their education, and have one less worry on their shoulders.
If you are able, please consider making a monetary donation to support this student using the link below:

šŸ“± Community Support Needed for a Hardworking Mom

After experiencing homelessness, a local mom has finally secured an apartment for herself and her two children. This has been a huge step toward stability for their family. She is working incredibly hard and currently works two jobs to provide for her children and maintain their new home.
After paying rent and other essential household bills this month, she is $59 short on her phone bill. She utilizes her phone for her job, and it is also essential for her to stay in touch with her children while she is working
.
We are reaching out to our amazing community to see if anyone would be willing to help us cover this small but important need. Donations of any size are greatly appreciated, and every dollar helps support this family as they continue rebuilding and moving forward.

Help a Student Get on the Road to Success šŸš—

We are reaching out to our community to support a student in need. This student is eager to complete the online portion of driver’s education, an important step toward independence and future opportunities. Unfortunately, their family does not qualify for the state Driver’s Education Scholarship, and the $99 cost is currently a barrier. We are hoping to come together as a community to help cover this expense. Every contribution—no matter the amount—brings this student one step closer to achieving this important milestone.

If you are able to help, please consider making a donation using the link below. If not, sharing this post would also make a meaningful difference.

Help two students visit their mom in the hospital.

We are reaching out to our community with a heartfelt request to support two of our students—sisters who are going through an incredibly difficult time. Their mother is currently in the hospital, and being able to visit her means everything to them right now. We are hoping to raise funds to provide a gas card so they can continue making these important trips without the added stress of transportation costs. During moments like these, even the smallest act of kindness can make a meaningful difference.

If you are able to contribute, please consider making a monetary donation using the link below. If you’re unable to give at this time, sharing this post to help spread the word would also mean so much.

Thank you for your compassion, generosity, and support for these students and their family during this challenging time. ā¤ļø
