đź’ˇ Community Support Needed to Keep the Lights On
We are asking our amazing community to come together to support a hardworking local mom and her two children. ❤️
Due to the extreme cold weather this winter, the family’s electric bill has become much higher than expected. Mom is currently in school and is working hard to build a stable future for her family. She is scheduled to start a new job next week, but in the meantime she needs a little help to get through this week.
The family has received a disconnect notice and needs $218 by March 9th to keep their electricity on. Keeping the lights and heat on will allow the children to remain safe and comfortable while mom gets back on her feet. This mom is doing everything she can to provide for her family and simply needs a small bridge of support from the community during this transition.

✨ Helping a Local Family in Crisis ✨
A local family was forced to evacuate their home last week due to a house fire. Thankfully, they do have homeowners insurance, but they are currently staying in a hotel and facing immediate needs while they wait for repairs to begin.

- Meijer or Kroger gift cards
- New or gently used 12-month baby girl clothing, socks, size 7 diapers, and baby wipes
- 4T boys’ clothing and 5T toddler boy clothing

Recently Filled Needs

We are reaching out on behalf of a hardworking single mom in our community who could really use our support right now. Her child is currently in the hospital, and she is traveling back and forth each day to be by their side.
The cost of gas is quickly becoming overwhelming, and she is struggling to keep up with transportation expenses while also trying to make ends meet.
We are asking for donations to our charity to help provide a gas card so she can continue getting to and from the hospital without the added stress of worrying about fuel costs.

A graduating senior needs help paying her school fees.
A graduating senior needs our help. Her family qualifies for reduced lunch, but only students who receive free lunch have their school fees waived. As a result, she still has an outstanding balance of $760.11 in school fees. Seniors with unpaid fees are allowed to walk at graduation, but they cannot receive their diploma until the balance is paid in full. We would love to make sure she can fully celebrate this important milestone without anything holding her back.

A mother of a high-needs special needs child is being evicted and needs immediate assistance with her last utility bill. She has an outstanding bill of $108.34 that must be paid before the eviction date.

🚲 Community Donation Request 🚲
We are looking for a gently used bike for a hardworking 8th-grade student who currently walks a long distance to and from school each day, as well as to his after-school activities. Having a bike would greatly reduce his travel time and help him get where he needs to go more safely and efficiently, giving him more time to focus on school and being a kid.
If you have a bike in good condition that is large enough for an 8th grader and would be willing to donate, we would be incredibly grateful. We are also accepting monetary donations to help us purchase one for him.
