A single Mom is due any day and is in need of both size 1 and newborn diapers.  This Mom has been unable to work for the past six weeks due to health complications related to her pregnancy and is unable to purchase the diapers because of it.  Please consider supporting this parent and her new baby.

An Anthony Wayne Primary student is in need of gas cards to support an out of town medical appointment.  This student is unable to get the care they need locally and needs to access care that is 45 minutes away, one way.  Please consider supporting this family in accessing appropriate medical care by donating a $25 gift card to cover the cost of gas.

An Anthony Wayne Primary Student is in need of a shoe that will fit over their AFO (ankle-foot orthosis).  An AFO is a custom-made medical device that stabilizes and supports the ankle and foot. Their insurance covers the AFO but  will not cover appropriate footwear to fit over them and support the braces.  BILLY Footwear incorporates zippers that go along the side of the shoes and around the toe, allowing the upper of each shoe to open and fold over completely. Thus the wearer can place his or her foot onto the shoe footbed unobstructed. Then with a tug on the zipper-pull the shoe closes and secures overtop the user's foot, so that the student can put their own shoes off and on. The cost of the shoes is $100.
