Grocery Gift Cards for Single Father

Please consider supporting a single dad of two primary-aged children who is going through a difficult time. Dad recently lost his job and is doing his best to keep up with monthly expenses while caring for his kids. Assistance with groceries would help ensure the family has food on the table while he works toward getting back on his feet.

Recently Filled Needs

Gas and Grocery Support for a High School Student

Please consider supporting an Anthony Wayne High School student who is currently experiencing homelessness after being asked to leave their family home following their 18th birthday.

At this time, the student is staying with a generous family but is in need of additional support. They are requesting gas gift cards to help offset the cost of transportation provided by friends, as well as grocery gift cards to assist the host family with increased household expenses.

Giftcards may be dropped off ( Monday -Thursday 9am-3pm) or mailed to Anthony Wayne Neighborhood Bridges C/o Waterville Community Church 8217 Dutch Rd., Waterville, Ohio

Additional Support for Family who Suffered a House Fire

Please consider supporting an Anthony Wayne family of four who tragically lost their home in a house fire as they begin to settle into temporary housing.

The family has created wish lists through Amazon and Target and would greatly appreciate support through direct purchases or gift cards to either retailer.

Items may be ordered directly from the wish lists, or gift cards can be donated to assist the family as they work to rebuild.

Prescription glasses for elementary grade student

Good Morning! We have a third grade student in need of finacnial assistance to help cover the cost of his prescription glasses not covered by insurance. Thank you for your consideration in helping us to meet this need.

Support for Meals for Family who Lost their Home in a Fire

Please consider supporting an Anthony Wayne family of four who tragically lost their home in a house fire last week. At this time, Mom has identified meals as the most immediate need, as the family is moving between temporary housing. The family is requesting gift cards to Chick-fil-A, Raising Cane’s, Applebee’s, McDonald’s, Texas Roadhouse, or Taco Bell. Additional needs may arise once the family secures more stable temporary housing and has a clearer understanding of what is needed.

Clothing needed for Gym class

We are currently supporting a student who needs a little help being prepared for gym class. We are looking for one or two pairs of Adult Men’s Size Medium black joggers.

Utility Shut Off Fee

We are seeking immediate assistance for a mother of two AW students currently facing a critical utility crisis. Due to unforeseen financial hardship, her household has received an electric shut-off notice due in the coming days.
While the mother is working to pay what she can toward the balance, she is still facing a significant gap. Our immediate goal is to raise $300 to stop the shut-off process and keep the lights on for her children. 100% of your donation will go directly to this family's utility balance.
