Opportunities for Kindness

Deodorant


We serve middle school and just about every day, we have students that ask us for deodorant. We had a surplus but the supply has been deleted. We are need of some travel size deodorant for male and females. We will also take the unisex ones if they are donated. We also use the deodorants to fix personal hygiene care packages for students that are in need and don't have the resources to purchase hygiene items. 

High School Boy in Need of Clothes - Flooded


A parent is in need of help with clothes for her high school teenage son. Their home was recently flooded and the student's clothes were damaged during the flood. The student does not want to come to school because his clothes were ruined. The family will be very grateful for any assistance to help in this matter, so that the student can be prepared and ready to come to school in clean clothes . Site 14

Items Need:
Long Sleeve Shirts - Size Medium (Men)
Pants - 32 X 34 (Men)
Underwear: Size Medium/Large (Men)

Student Need: Pull-Ups for Classroom Use (Site: 15)


A special needs student in our school requires pull-ups during the school day. Due to ongoing financial insecurities, the family is having difficulty providing enough pull-ups to meet the student’s daily needs. This essential item helps ensure the student’s comfort, dignity, and ability to fully participate in learning activities.

Item Needed:
  • Pull-Ups, Size: Large/XL
  • Quantity: Ongoing classroom supply
Any support in providing these items would make a meaningful difference for this student and their family. Thank you for helping remove barriers to learning and supporting our school community.

BELTS needed in adult sizes


Site 18- BELTS (black or brown) needed for girls and boys in all sizes 

Clothing needed for Site 18


Site 18 is in need of khaki pants for young women ranging from sizes 0-14.  There is also a need for khaki pants for young men ranging in sizes 30-38 with inseams of 30, 32, 34.  Young ladies need white, plain polo style shirts with size S-XXL and plain, white, long-sleeved, button shirts for young men with sizes M-XL.  There is a need for plain, white polo styled shirts for boys ranging from sizes 6-14 and pants for boys ranging in sizes 6-14.

We are requesting assistance for a special needs student whose family is currently facing financial insecurity and is struggling to provide essential clothing items for daily wear. Any support you are able to offer would be greatly appreciated and will help ensure this student is comfortable and prepared for school each day.
Items Needed:
  • Shirts – Size 6X
  • Pants – Size 6X (adjustable waist preferred)
  • Socks – Medium - Large
New or gently used items are welcome. Thank you for your kindness and willingness to support this student and family during a difficult time.

Walmart Gift Card for Basic Needs


A single parent is in need of purchasing clothes and personal items for her high school teen. The parent has limited income and is struggling to provide for the basic needs of her children. The parent is requesting a Walmart Gift Card so she can purchase her child items for school. Any amount would help this family and would be greatly appreciated. Site 14

Extended Day Fees


Greetings!
We have a single mom who is in need of support with Extended Day Fees for her child. She has set up a payment plan with our extended Day director. However, we would like to support her by aiding with her invoice, so that she does not get too far behind. Her current balance is $156. We will take any donations towards this amount! Thanks so much!
