Opportunities for Kindness
We are wanting to start a Food Pantry at Elkmont Elementary.
Elkmont Elementary would love to be able to start a food pantry for the families that are in need of food. We have so many kids that could benefit from this. If you would like to donate anything non-perishable and canned food items that can be taken home easily, You can bring any donations to the front office of the Elementary. Thank you so much for anything that can be given.
Some options would be:
Canned vegetables
Canned meat
Rice
Dried Beans
Boxed Meals
Cornbread box mix
Recently Filled Needs
Clothes and other needs for students
Clothes and hygiene closet for students.
Boys undies, girls sports bras, girls gym shorts, boys and girls socks, joggers, leggings, t-shirts and sweat shirts sizes youth large and xlarge and adult small, medium, large and xlarge.
Shampoo, conditioner, soap, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and lotion.
Backpacks
Furniture needed!
Family of 3 are in need of all kinds of furniture and housewares. They have been relocated and are in need of things like:
2 twin beds
dressers
table and chairs
dishes
cookware
Couch
Or anything else that would fit this criteria.
Driver's Education Fees
We have 3 students who needs assistance paying their Driver's Education fees of $50. If you are willing to help, please do.
Canned Foods for Christmas Families
We have 20 families that we want to sponsor for Christmas. We have the meat provided, but would like to supply the sides. If you would be willing to donate, items can be brought to Elkmont Elementary front office.
Items needed:
canned green beans
canned corn
boxes of stuffing
Jiffy cornbread boxes
canned vegetables
canned sweet potatoes
Senior Graduation Fees
We have one student who needs graduation fees paid for in the amount of $85. This will cover the cap, gown, and tassel. THANK YOU!
10 Frozen Turkeys needed for Needy families in the Elkmont Community for Thanksgiving.
We need 10 Frozen Turkeys dropped off at the school to go along with the canned goods that the students are collecting in the canned goods drive. These Turkeys are for needy students families in the Elkmont community.
Turkeys will need to be dropped off Friday, November 17th between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.
