Boaz Elementary student with inoperable brain tumor

A student at Boaz Elementary has been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor and has to travel for medical treatment. The family could use some help with travel (gas and food) money. Just a note that Walmart gift cards work well for food and other supplies they may need, but are no longer accepted at Murphy's/Walmart gas stations. Gift cards can be dropped off at Boaz Elementary school office, Marshall DeKalb Electric Company, Peoples Independent Bank in Boaz or email us for a mailing address.
