Streetsboro Bridges

A local family with five children is currently in urgent need of new or very gently used clothing after losing their housing and facing ongoing financial difficulties. They are working diligently to rebuild but are finding it challenging to provide basic necessities for their kids. Any assistance would be deeply appreciated during this challenging time.

The children include:
- One 7th-grader (female) 
- Two 1st graders (female, male)
- Two Kindergarteners (female, female)

The items needed include:
- Shorts
- Sweatpants
- Leggings
- Short-sleeve shirts
- Pants
- Shoes for the younger children

Sizes needed:
- Kindergarteners: size 5 shirts/pants size 2.5 big kid sized
- 1st graders: size 6 shirts/pants, size 12.5

          Please note, one of the 1st graders is male and one is female

- 7th-grader: size Large shirts/pants (shoes are not needed)

The middle school student would benefit from a variety of everyday tops and bottoms. The younger children have a preference for colorful clothing and fun designs.

If you are able to donate new or very gently used items, it would be a tremendous help to this family during a very difficult period.

We are reaching out on behalf of a local family who needs support from the community.

This hardworking mom is doing everything she can—working 6 (sometimes 7) full days a week just to keep a roof over her children’s heads and food on the table. Right now, they are staying in a hotel, but they must move out by June 1st and have no clear place to go next. Although they have applied to several places, housing waitlists have remained lengthy with little movement, and the family's ability to wait is dwindling.

This family includes a mother and her two sons (7th and 9th grade), along with their three dogs, all of whom have doctor-provided Emotional Support Animal (ESA) letters. They are doing their best to stay together and get through an incredibly difficult time. Due to their current financial situation, they are in need of no-cost items and support at this time. Any help that can ease their burden without adding financial strain would mean so much.

They are in need of:
• Storage totes/containers for packing and moving (new or gently used)
• Dog food (Beneful dry food and Cesar’s Simply Crafted wet food) NEED FILLED - THANK YOU!
• Dog vaccinations
• Leads on temporary housing or resources
• A reliable vehicle
• Clothing: All styles and colors, preferably non-form fitting

Are you in the mood for Spring cleaning? Our middle school is seeking to establish a community closet stocked with hygiene items and clothing for students throughout the year. Students could really use leggings, shorts, basic tees, socks, deodorant, toothbrushes, and toothpaste. We're also seeking support in acquiring the storage containers needed for the clothes/hygiene items. There are several ways you can help support our initiative:

1.) Make a monetary donation through our GiveButter link here, and we will purchase needed items and deliver them directly to families.

2.) Shop from our Amazon wish list here and items will be sent to an area director at the middle school.

3.) Purchase items on your own and drop them off at Streetsboro Middle School.
